Bill 77 – Services for Persons with Developmental Disabilities Act, 2008

The Standing Committee on Social Policy will meet to consider Bill 77, An Act to provide services to persons with developmental disabilities, to repeal the Developmental Services Act and to amend certain other statutes.

The Committee intends to hold public hearings in Toronto, London, Timmins and Ottawa on August 5, 6, 7 and 8, 2008.

Interested people who wish to be considered to make an oral presentation on Bill 77 should contact the Committee Clerk by 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 30, 2008.

Those who do not wish to make an oral presentation but wish to comment on the Bill may send written submissions to the Committee Clerk at the address below by 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 12, 2008.
