Information Desk

Interested in a public tour, or just want to ask a question? Check in with the Special Constable at the main entrance, who will put you in contact with an Information Officer. The main entrance is on the south side, facing University Avenue.

Information desk hours are 8:00 am to 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday. For tour schedules, please visit our Education Portal.

Public Gallery Visitors

If you are coming to watch the House in session from the public galleries, you must sign in with the Special Constable at the south basement entrance to receive a gallery pass. The south basement entrance is at ground level, to the left of the main entrance.

Members' Gallery Visitors

If you have been invited by a Member to sit in the members' gallery, you may use any staffed entrance. The Special Constable on duty will issue your visitor badge and direct you to the Member's office to pick up a gallery pass, if you don't already have one.

Business Visitors

If you are attending a committee hearing, or have a meeting or appointment in the Legislative Building, you may use any staffed entrance. The Special Constable on duty will verify your appointment and issue a visitor badge. To speed up your sign in process, you can notify Legislative Security of your business visit ahead of time by filling out the form below.

Couriers

All couriers and deliveries must go to the Receiving and Mail Services area.

Cafeteria, Dining Room, Barber Shop and Hair Salon Patrons

Enter through the south basement entrance and tell the Special Constable which of the services you're visiting. You'll be issued with a visitor badge that allows access to these services.

Whitney Block Visitors

Public access to the Whitney Block is through the west entrance, facing Queen's Park Crescent.

Hours and Accessibility

Public access times vary in accordance with the business hours of operation, various events and the Legislative proceedings. The south basement entrance is staffed by a Special Constable 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The west entrance of the Whitney Block is staffed until midnight daily.
